我相信很多人認識他們都是由2005年發行的A Fever You Can't Sweat out這張專輯裡，I Write Sins Not Tragedies這首歌開始。
個人認為如果想認識P!ATD的話，除了上面提到的I Write Sins Not Tragedies以外，可以從The Ballad Of Mona Lisa 、Nine In The Afternoon 和較近期的專輯Death Of A Bachelor來下手。
在Death Of A Bachelor這張專輯內，除了同名歌曲Death Of A Bachelor以外，大推Golden Days和House Of Memories啊啊！！！

回到正題～這首歌的歌名Collar full，在歌詞裡面，完整的意思其實是a collar full of chemistry。
而chemistry雖然直譯是化學物品，但在這裏Brendon曾解釋說是代表女孩的化妝品。
這首歌的背景大約是在浮華的世界中，一個男孩迷戀上他夢想中的女孩。
個人的理解比較偏向是它是有點膚淺但是又帶著極度渴望的一首歌，跟同專輯中的Casual Affair有著相似的氛圍。
Brendon在這首歌裡雖然沒有太情緒激揚的部分，但是這種有點糜爛的嗓音也很不錯///////
