Wafia，全名Wafia Al-Rikabi。
出生於1993年8月4號，是澳洲來的的女歌手，也同時是個作曲家。
在大學主修生物醫學，為了不要讓唸書變得太單調無聊而開始寫歌。
她當時發佈在Soundcloud上最有名的歌是Let Me Love You。
之後，她就被Future Classic簽下來，也與Ta-Ku合作了一些歌～（Love Somebody好聽啊！而且封面也很美XDD）

這首歌的來源是Wafia有一次在下車時，不小心踩空時所蹦出來的一句話。她說當時她眼前浮現了她人生所有得意的時期，並記起來她曾說過一些有關high before the fall的話，於是在幾天後她與她的co-writer們討論之下，那句話就孕育出了現在這首歌。

很明顯的這是一首失戀的歌，Wafia在寫這首歌的時候處在一個很艱困的時刻。
當時一個對她而言很重要的人離她而去，
她則沈溺於記錄下這個人在她生命中的缺席明明是無形的，
卻又如此的響亮、明顯，如此的有存在感到她無時無刻無法不去在意，不能忽視。
